Meccha Chameleon puts a colorful twist on hide-and-seek. Instead of finding a dark corner, you become the wall. Every match starts with all players as blank white avatars. As a hider, you must grab your brush, match the colors and patterns behind you, and paint yourself to blend in before the seeker finishes counting. It is a clever mix of art, observation, and split-second decision-making.

The game is designed for 2 to 8 players, making it perfect for parties or quick online sessions. Each round splits players into hiders and one seeker. Hiders get a short window to paint and pose, while the seeker must scan every surface for clues that something is not quite right. A missed shadow, a slightly off shade of blue, or a chair that has too many legs can give you away.

Playing as a hider requires more than just matching colors. Smart players use poses to break up their human outline. Crouching, sitting, or curling into a ball can make you look like a sack, a cushion, or part of a shelf. Lighting matters too. Painting one side lighter and the other darker to match a room’s light source adds convincing depth, and staying near complex patterns or cluttered walls gives your camouflage extra cover.

As the seeker, patience and method matter most. Rather than running around randomly, break the map into sections. Look for unnatural outlines, mismatched pattern cuts, or shadows that do not line up with the lights. A careful seeker will check high spots, tight corners, and the floor before the timer runs out. How to Play Meccha Chameleon

Choose your role each round: hider or seeker. Hiders have a short period to paint their body to match the environment behind them using the color wheel and brush tools. Seekers then search the map and try to find all hidden players before the timer expires. A round ends when the seeker finds all hiders or time runs out.

Tips for Meccha Chameleon

As a hider, avoid flat single-color walls. Choose backdrop with complex patterns or busy decorations. Paint different shades on light-facing and shadow-facing sides to match the room's lighting. Use poses to break up your human silhouette. As a seeker, scan systematically sector by sector and focus on outlines, pattern breaks, and misplaced shadows instead of bright colors.
