About Paint Hide & Seek

Paint Hide & Seek is a creative stealth game where hiding means more than ducking behind a couch. You use a color eyedropper and brush to sample the walls, floors, and furniture around you, then paint your character with those exact colors. The goal is to become invisible in plain sight before the seeker arrives.

Each round puts you on one of two teams: Hider or Seeker. As a Hider, you have 180 seconds to pick a spot, sample colors, paint your body, and freeze into a convincing pose. As a Seeker, you patrol the map looking for tiny visual flaws—a slightly off texture, a warped outline, or paint that doesn't quite match.

A pose system lets you adjust your body shape to align with architectural lines, which helps eliminate suspicious outlines. Once you are painted and posed, staying perfectly still is crucial. Any movement can catch the seeker's eye.

The game supports both PC and mobile play, with drag-and-paint mechanics that make camouflage quick and satisfying. Captured Hiders become Seekers, so the hunt becomes more intense as the round goes on.

Paint Hide & Seek is ideal for players who enjoy observation, quick reflexes, and clever spatial thinking. It turns everyday environments into puzzles of visual deception, where the best disguise wins.

How to Play Paint Hide & Seek

At the start of a round, choose your role or wait for assignment. If you are a Hider, run to a hiding spot that offers flat surfaces and clear lines. Open the paint menu, click on the environment to sample a color, then drag your cursor over your character to apply the paint. Cycle through poses until your body aligns with the background. Freeze and wait. If you are a Seeker, walk through the map and look for irregularities such as a character shape that doesn't belong, a part of the wall that seems to shift, or paint colors that are slightly off. Tag any Hider you find. The round ends when all Hiders are caught or the timer runs out.

Tips for Paint Hide & Seek

Sample multiple shades from the same surface to match lighting variations. Use corners and edges where your outline is less noticeable. Change your pose after painting to cover unpainted areas and avoid a human silhouette. If you are a Seeker, move slowly and compare similar objects—look for parts of the room that seem to have an extra limb or unnatural shadow. Remember that a Hider can freeze for a long time, so don't ignore an area just because it seems motionless.
