How to Play Solitaire Daily

The game starts with 28 cards dealt into seven tableau columns, with the first column having one card and each subsequent column having one more card than the last. The top card of each column is face up; all others are face down. The remaining cards form the stock pile in the top left corner. Four foundation piles are on the top right. Your goal is to move all cards to the foundations, building each suit from Ace to King.

To reveal hidden cards, move face-up cards to other columns according to alternating colors and descending ranks. For example, you can place a red 7 on a black 8. You can move a single card or a correctly ordered sequence of cards. When a column becomes empty, you may place a King (or a sequence starting with a King) there.

Click the stock pile to draw one card at a time. When the stock is exhausted, click the empty space to recycle the waste pile back into the stock. You may use the stock as many times as you like, but be mindful of the limited number of passes if you are playing a timed or scored version.

Tips for Solitaire Daily

Prioritize revealing face-down cards, especially in columns with many hidden cards, as they often hold the keys to progress. Do not rush to move cards to foundations, because you might need them later to build sequences on the tableau. Always try to keep at least one column empty; an empty column provides valuable sorting space. When drawing from the stock, think ahead: if drawing one card at a time, consider when to stop recycling to avoid repeat cycles. Finally, if you are stuck, analyze the board for alternative moves; sometimes moving a sequence back or breaking a formed stack can unlock new possibilities.
