Shady Cats

About Shady Cats

Shady Cats is a charmingly odd running game where you control a cat trying to escape from its own shadow. The goal is simple: collect acorns scattered around the play area while staying out of reach of the dark silhouette that mirrors your every move.

The title's unique twist is that your shadow is your enemy. It follows your path and will catch you if you hesitate. This creates a tense but fun chase where planning your route is just as important as quick reflexes.

With its lighthearted premise and simple one-touch controls, Shady Cats is easy to pick up but hard to put down. The endless runner format means each attempt offers a new chance to beat your previous best.

Whether you have a few minutes or a longer session, this game delivers a playful challenge that will keep you coming back for more. Ready to outsmart the chase and see how long you can survive?

How to Play Shady Cats

Move your cat around the area to collect acorns. Avoid your shadow at all costs—if it touches you, the game ends. Keep moving and use the layout to your advantage to evade the shadow and gather as many acorns as possible.

Tips for Shady Cats

Plan your route in advance to collect acorns without getting cornered. Keep an eye on your shadow's position and use quick direction changes to shake it off. Don't get greedy—sometimes it's better to skip an acorn and stay safe.
