In The Bodyguard, you step into the shoes of a secret service agent tasked with protecting high-profile political figures during live speeches. Assassins are everywhere, and your reflexes are the only thing standing between your client and a fatal shot. Dive across the stage at the last second and take the bullet yourself—or knock the VIP out of harm's way.

Every attempt is a test of timing and positioning. The game uses slow motion to help you read incoming bullet trails, but you still need to decide whether to leap, block, or shove. Ragdoll physics make every collision unpredictable, turning tense moments into chaotic, comedic saves.

As you progress, the threats escalate. Shooters hide at trickier angles, projectiles come faster, and hazards get thrown into the mix. Quick restarts and short rounds keep the action snappy, making it easy to jump back in and try a different approach.

How to Play The Bodyguard

React instantly when a shot is fired. Move your agent with W, A, S, D to stay close to the VIP. Use the Spacebar for a high jump, X for a long dive, and the left mouse button for a strong leap. Right-click to activate slow motion and assess the bullet's path. You can intercept the bullet with your body or collide with the VIP to push them off the podium before impact.

Tips for The Bodyguard

Always trigger slow motion as soon as you see a muzzle flash—it gives you time to read the trajectory. A well-timed shove can be just as effective as a body block, so don't always try to absorb the hit. Watch for thrown hazards in later stages; they don't follow straight lines. If you miss, restart quickly and memorize where the shooter was hiding.
