How to Play Spikerex Game

Press Space to begin. Your dinosaur runs automatically, leaving you to focus on the obstacles approaching from the right. Press Space again to jump, and use the Down Arrow to duck.

Cacti appear along the ground, sometimes standing alone and sometimes forming clusters. Watch the space ahead and time each jump to clear the entire obstacle. Jumping too early can bring the dinosaur down onto a cactus, while jumping too late leaves little room to avoid a collision.

The gaps between obstacles matter as much as their size. After landing, check what comes next before making another move. A jump that clears one cactus still needs to leave you ready for the following cluster.

A collision ends the run. Check your score, start again, and aim to pass your previous best.

Tips for Spikerex Game

Start on Easy to learn the jump timing before trying Normal or Hard.
Keep your eyes on the space just ahead of the dinosaur rather than looking at the whole screen.
After landing, immediately check the next obstacle so you can prepare your next jump or duck.
Try to jump late enough to clear the cactus but early enough to avoid landing on it.
Use the Best display as a target and try to beat it by even a small amount each run.
