Before each wave, you pick a partner Pokémon and assemble a loadout of moves. These aren't just attacks—they define your playstyle. Some moves deal heavy area damage, others boost your speed or grant temporary shields. Choosing the right combination is key to surviving later rounds when enemies swarm from all sides.

Combat is real-time and intense. You move freely around the arena, dodge enemy attacks, and unleash your chosen moves on cooldown. Wild Pokémon types vary, and some have unique behaviors, forcing you to adapt on the fly. Defeated enemies may drop power-ups that heal you or reduce your move cooldowns, giving you a fighting chance when things get chaotic.

How to Play PokéSurvivor

Start by choosing your partner Pokémon and selecting a set of moves from the available options. Once the match begins, control your character in the arena and fight off incoming wild Pokémon. Each wave gets progressively harder, with more enemies and tougher variants. Between waves, you may get the chance to upgrade or swap moves to better handle upcoming threats. Survive as many waves as possible—there is no final wave, so your goal is to set a high score and keep pushing.

Tips for PokéSurvivor

Experiment with different move combinations early on—some moves synergize well, like a slow that groups enemies for an area attack. Keep moving constantly; standing still makes you an easy target. Prioritize enemies that pose the greatest immediate threat, such as fast attackers or those with ranged attacks. Save powerful moves for moments when you're surrounded. If playing co-op, assign roles: one player can focus on crowd control while the other deals heavy damage.
